And which candidate is a professed follower of Christ and which does not profess anything other than church membership? I think the reason politics should not clash with religion is because not all Christians are Republicans and not all Christians are Democrats. That's the reason we have freedom to choose in America. No one should be persecuted for their beliefs. Especially when Obama is our brother in Christ, as a professed believer. I know lots of brothers within the church that I don't agree with on issues. Yes, the abortion issue is a strong one, but I am equally concerned with lifestyle also and what comes out of the mouth because out of the heart so speaks the mouth. Walking it out is a pretty important measuring stick. Does the Spirit show through in a quiet humble lifestyle or is there a seething anger that permeates? Coincidentally, I do not necessarily vote for Obama. I just think the attack style is not becoming of followers of Christ. They'll know we are Christians by our love for one another....not by our political views. There are ways to appeal to brothers in Christ by the Spirit. I pray that whoever is elected (even if it is Obama as the polls suggest) would listen to their heart as the one true living son of the one true living God speaks to it through the Holy Spirit. I hope you will join me in that prayer. - Cathy

The Week Berore Change - For Good or Bad!

Don't try to call me on our telephone. We are using our cell phone for this next week before the election of 2008.

We are observing the Ceremony of Sanctity of Silence - from DNC, RNC telephone vote solicitors and other stuffffff!

Another thing: we are so fed up with the corruption of the DNC surrogates and supporters and the ups and downs of the RNC poll counts that we are turning off all ads of both parties.

We intend to spend the time in prayer. Prayer changes things and our God is able to confound the most arrogant of polls. I believe most of them are corrupt and are not worthy of our consideration.
